ADVANCING A VISION OF COMMUNITY-BASED, LEARNER-CENTERED ECOSYSTEMS, EDUCATION REIMAGINED INVESTIGATED AND DOCUMENTED POLICY, INFRASTRUCTURE, AND COMMUNITY-BASED OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES TO THIS SYSTEMS TRANSFORMATION TO INFORM AND FUEL THE WORK OF OTHER ALIGNED LEADERS. IN 2023, WE: - ENGAGED A COHORT OF NINE ORGANIZATIONS, WITH PROVEN TRACK RECORDS OF LEARNER-CENTERED IMPLEMENTATION AND DEEP CONNECTIONS WITHIN THEIR BROADER COMMUNITIES, IN AN EIGHT-MONTH COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE TO EXPLORE THEIR READINESS TO CREATE LEARNER-CENTERED ECOSYSTEMS IN THEIR LOCALITIES. - CONDUCTED A 50-STATE POLICY SCAN TO UNDERSTAND WHAT EXISTING LEGISLATION AND POLICY CONDITIONS ENABLE OR INHIBIT LEARNER-CENTERED EDUCATION AND ECOSYSTEM INVENTION.- PUBLISHED A GUIDEBOOK AND MICROSITE WITH FRAMEWORKS AND PRINCIPLES TO SUPPORT COMMUNITIES IN REIMAGINING SYSTEMS OF ACCOUNTABILITY, ASSESSMENT, GOVERNANCE, RESOURCE ALLOCATION, AND HUMAN CAPITAL PIPELINE AND DEVELOPMENT.- CO-AUTHORED A REPORT TO ILLUMINATE INSIGHTS FROM THIRTEEN COMMUNITIES THAT HAVE IMPLEMENTED ASPECTS OF LEARNER-CENTERED ECOSYSTEMS AND TO SHARE AN ECOSYSTEM READINESS FRAMEWORK DESIGNED FOR COMMUNITIES TO ADVANCE THEIR OWN EFFORTS.
