PROGRAMS INCLUDE DAY PROGRAMS, SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS, AND PERSONAL SUPPORTS FOR ADULTS 21 AND OLDER. THE PROGRAMS ARE FOCUSED ON HELPING INDIVIDUALS DEVELOP THE SKILLS NEEDED TO LIVE A MEANINGFUL LIFE.

SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM: OPERATING IN A LOW CLIENT TO STAFF RATIO, THE PROGRAM PROVIDES CONTINUAL JOB SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS WITH THEIR PAID OR VOLUNTEER EMPLOYMENT OR MICRO BUSINESSES. EMPHASIZES ASSESSMENT OF STRENGTHS AND NEEDS, VOCATIONAL SKILLS AND JOB PERFORMANCE. INCORPORATES THE WANTS AND NEEDS OF THE INDIVIDUAL IN OUR EFFORT TO HELP FIND THE BEST OCCUPATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. WORK ON INDIVIDUALS' PREFERRED AREA OF EMPLOYMENT WITH "ON THE JOB" PRACTICE LISTS. CREATES CUSTOMIZED EMPLOYMENT STRATEGIES COMBINING ASSESSMENTS AND INDIVIDUAL PREFERENCES INCLUDING WEEKLY 1:1 JOB RESEARCH AND SUPPORT. TEACHES MULTIPLE STRATEGIES FOR JOB SEARCHES. DAY HABILITATION PROGRAM. OPERATING IN A LOW CLIENT TO STAFF RATION, THE PROGRAM FOCUSES ON ENHANCING COMMUNICATION SKILLS USING AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE, ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY, AND OR THE PICTURE EXCHANGE COMMUNICATION OR BY INCREASING EXPRESSIVE AND RECEPTIVE LANGUAGE. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES ACCOMODATIONS THAT ACKNOWLEDGES THE PREFERENCES OF INDIVIDUALS WITH AUTISM FOR VISUAL PRESENTATION OF THE INFORMATION, WHILE PROVIDING STRUCTURE, STABILITY, AND PREDICTIBILITY IN THEIR DAILY SCHEDULE. HELP INDIVIDUALS WORK TO INCREASE, NOT JUST MAINTAIN, THEIR SKILL LEVELS VIA CONTINUED LEARNING ACTIVITIES. TRANSITIONS INDIVIDUALS FROM LESSON PLANS TO TAILORED ACTIVITIES, WHICH HELP THEM GENERALIZE A SET OF SKILLS INTO THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.
PERSONAL SUPPORTS SERVICES: ITINERIS OFFERS SUPPORT TO ADULTS IN THEIR HOME AND COMMUNITY. ITINERIS AUTISM SUPPORT COACHES ARE TRAINED TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTION IN SPECIFIC SKILLS AREAS, POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT, MENTORING AND RECREATIONAL SUPPORT. INDIVIDUALS WILL LEARN TO LIVE MORE INDEPENDENTLY BY IMPROVING LIFE SKILLS AND ACCESSING ADAPTIVE EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY.
