AMVETS HAWAII SERVICE FOUNDATION IS A 501C3, PUBLIC NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION OPERATING IN HAWAII. OUR PRIMARY GOAL IS TO SERVE AMERICAN VETERANS WHO SERVED OUR COUNTRY. TO SERVE VETERANS AND THE ACTIVE MILITARY IN PROCURING THEIR EARNED ENTITLEMENTS; TO ASSISTS AND ADVOCATES FOR SEVERELY WOUNDED, ILL OR INJURED SOLDIERS, VETERANS, AND THEIR FAMILIES; TO PROMOTE AMERICANISM AND PRESERVE THE FREEDOMS SECURED BY AMERICA'S ARMED FORCES AND TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY SERVICES THAT ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL AMERICANS.

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM HOSTS AND PROVIDES COMMUNITY EVENTS AT OUR AMVETS WEST OAHU VETERANS CENTER FOR OUR ACTIVE MILITARY, VETERANS SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS, OTHER CHARITABLE AND NON PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS USE OF OUR FACILITIES WITHOUT CHARGE.


VETERANS SERVICES TO ASSIST WITH VA CLAIMS FOR COMPENSATIONS, FUNERALS SERVICES, AND PROVIDES INFORMATION AND REFERRALS.


MENTAL HEATH PROGRAM: PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION AND AWARENESS TRAINING AND ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSIONS; PROVIDED OTHER VETERAN SERVICES AND ASSISTANCE; ENGAGED IN COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM INITIATIVES BY BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH COMMUNITY LEADERS, ORGANIZATIONS, COMPANIES, SCHOOLS, CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS AND VETERANS OTHER SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS; WRITTEN LETTERS TO ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES AND VOICING YOUR SUPPORT ON THE ISSUES THAT MATTER TO OUR MILITARY FAMILIES; CREATED AND DISTRIBUTED FLYERS AND BROCHURES; HELP IMPROVED COMMUNICATION FOR DEPARTMENT AND POSTS ONLINE PRESENTS ON WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS TO ATTRACT NEW MEMBERS AND SHARE INFORMATION WITH MEMBERS, CLIENTS, FRIENDS AND VIEWERS ALIKE.
