THIS GRANT PROVIDES FUNDING FORAFTERSCHOOL AND SUMMER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS FOR TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN THROUGH SIXTH GRADE.``EXPANDED LEARNING MEANS BEFORE SCHOOL, AFTER SCHOOL, SUMMER, OR INTERSESSION LEARNING PROGRAMS THAT FOCUS ON DEVELOPING THE ACADEMIC, SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL, AND PHYSICAL NEEDS AND INTERESTS OF PUPILS THROUGH HANDS-ON, ENGAGING LEARNING EXPERIENCES.

AFTER SCHOOL EDUCATION AND SAFETY GRANT. THIS PROGRAM IS A BASE PROGRAM AT MONSON SULTANA ELEMENTARY TO PROVIDE LITERACY, ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT AND SAFE CONSTRUCTIVE ALTERNATIVES FOR STUDENTS. THE PROGRAM OPERATES 180 DAYS A YEAR, IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE END OF THE REGULAR SCHOOL DAY.
