THE ADVOCACY & RESOURCE CENTER EXISTS TO EMPOWER PEOPLE AFFECTED BY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, AND OTHER FORMS OF VIOLENCE TO REALIZE LIVES OF CHOICE, SAFETY, AND FREEDOM.

Part 3 - Line 4a

ADVOCATES AND STAFF OF THE ADVOCACY & RESOURCE CETNER PROVIDE EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND EMPOWERMENT TO ALL VICTIMS OF VIOLENT CRIMES. ADVOCATES ASSIST WITH EMERGENCY SHELTER, FOOD, TRANSPORTATION, AND OTHER NECESSITIES. THE ADVOCATES SUPPORT VICTIMS THROUGH THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROCESS, OBTAINING PROTECTION ORDERS, COMMUNICATING WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT AND WITH PROSECUTORS. THEY ALSO STAFF A 24 HOUR CRISIS LINE TO PROVIDE CRISIS INTERVENTION, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, AND SAFETY PLANNING TO VICTIMS OF VIOLENT CRIME. THE ORGANIZATION HAS RECEIVED $13,106 OF DONATED HOUSEHOLD GOODS AND CLOTHING. THEY HAVE ALSO RECEIVED $5,340 OF DONATED FACILITIES.
