DURING 2021, ADVOCATES ASSISTED 356 VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INCLUDING PROVIDING 3,743 NIGHTS OF SAFE SHELTER. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, AWP PROVIDED FREE, CONFIDENTIAL, COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES TO SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, ASSISTED SURVIVORS WITH SAFETY AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY THROUGH 24- HOUR SERVICES AND PROGRAMS SUCH AS CRISIS LINE COVERAGE, EMERGENCY SHELTER, INDIVIDUALIZED GOAL PLANNING, SAFETY PLANNING, PARENT AND CHILDREN PROGRAMS, AND SUPPORT GROUPS.
ADVOCATES ANSWERED 949 CRISIS CALLS AND PROVIDED LEGAL ADVOCACY SERVICES TO 146 CLIENTS. ADVOCATES PROVIDED LEGAL ADVOCACY SERVICE AS WELL AS INTERVENTION COUNSELING, ASSISTANCE WITH TEMPORARY AND PERMANENT PROTECTION ORDERS, ADVOCACY, SAFETY PLANNING, AND RESOURCES AND REFERRALS.
