THE CENTER PROVIDES RESOURCES FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND HOMELESSNESS INCLUDING SHELTER SERVICES, EMERGENCY COUNSELING AND REFERRALS TO OTHER AGENCIES; ASSISTS FAMILIES WITH PROBLEMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE; PROVIDES EDUCATION ON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE; WORKS WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES.

Part 3 - Line 4a

PROVIDED SHELTER TO 164 WOMEN, 15 MEN, AND 69 CHILDREN WHO WERE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND/OR HOMELESSNESS. PROVIDED 1,096 INTERVENTIONS, FIELDED 500 CRISIS CALLS, PROVIDED 6,896 CASEWORK HOURS, AND LOGGED 42,800 HOURS OF VOLUNTEER SERVICE. ALSO HELD 40 WOMEN'S SUPPORT GROUPS WITH 80 ATTENDING.


RAPE CRISIS HOTLINE AND RAPE EDUCATION; PROVIDED LEGAL AND HEALTH RESOURCE COORDINATION; PROVIDED 3 RAPE AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE TRAINING FOR 110 LEGAL AND MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS; ORGANIZED 13 COMMUNITY PRESENTATIONS ON RAPE/VIOLENCE PREVENTION AND AWARENESS WITH 271 ATTENDING.


PROVIDED AND MAINTAINED TRANSITIONAL HOUSING APARTMENTS FOR 10 WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. PROVIDED SOCIAL AND FINANCIAL EDUCATION WHILE TENANTS WORKED TOWARD SELF-SUFFICIENCY.
