THE COALITION OF FARMWORKER SERVING AGENCIES HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN PARTNERING COUNTIES TO MEET THE SAFETY AND HEALTH NEEDS OF MIGRANT AND SEASONAL FARMWORKERS AND THEIR FAMILIES. OUR MISSION IS TO FACILITATE INFORMATION EXCHANGE, ADVOCACY, AND COLLABORATION AMONG ORGANIZATIONS THAT SERVE MIGRANTS AND SEASONAL FARMWORKERS. THE COALITION AIMS TO ASSIST MIGRANTS AND SEASONAL FARMWORKERS IN IDENTIFYING BARRIERS TO EQUAL RIGHTS AND RESPECT IN THEIR PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT AS WELL AS THE COMMUNITIES IN WHICH THEY LIVE AND WORK.

THE ORGANIZATION HAS ESTABLISHED BETTER COMMUNICATION THROUGH EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION, IDEAS, AND MATERIALS WITHIN THE COALITION OF FARMWORKER SERVING AGENCIES. IT HAS WORKED TOWARD RESOLUTION OF COMMON PROBLEMS FACING THE COALITION OF FARMWORKER SERVING AGENCIES ACROSS THE WESTERN NEW YORK REGION. THERE HAS BEEN A CONTINUATION OF EDUCATION OF FARMWORKERS, FARMWORKER ADVOCATES AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ABOUT FARMWORKERS' LEGAL, CIVIL, AND HUMAN RIGHTS, AND BEST PRACTICES. WORK HAS CONTINUED TO INCREASE GREATER ACCESS FOR FARMWORKERS AND TO ELIMINATE PREJUDICE AND DISCRIMINATION.
