THE ALLIANCE SERVES MEMBER YMCAS BY ACTIVELY ADVOCATING, AND FUNCTIONING AS A RESOURCE FOR YMCAS IN THE FOUR STRATEGIC OBJECTS OF: PUBLIC POLICY AND EXTERNAL RELATIONS; PUBLIC FUNDING AND FINANCIAL RESOURCES; MEMBER SERVICES; AND STATEWIDE COLLABORATIONS. OUR ASSOCIATION LINKS THE AMBITION OF ADVOCACY AND PUBLIC POLICY INGENUITY WITH SOUND RESOURCES AND TRADITION. STATEWIDE YMCA COLLABORATION BENEFITS ALL YMCAS ACROSS THE EMPIRE STATE BY PROVIDING A COHESIVE AND UNIFIED STRUCTURE, ESTABLISHED TO PRESERVE AND ENHANCE THE YMCA MISSION. THE GOAL OF THE ALLIANCE IS TO SUSTAIN AND ENHANCE THE YMCA THROUGH PUBLIC POLICY INITIATIVES, COMMUNICATIONS, EFFECTIVE PROGRAMMING AND MEMBER SERVICES.
