COMMUNITY HEALTH: COMMUNITY HEALTH PROGRAMS AND SERVICES ACROSS THE STATE OF IDAHO PROMOTE HEALTHY PARENTING AND EARLY CHILDHOODS, ACCESS TO HEALTHY FOODS AND NUTRITION IN SAFE CHILDCARE ENVIRONMENTS, RECOVERY AND RESILIENCE IN BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, SUICIDE PREVENTION, MULTIGENERATIONAL VOLUNTEERISM FOR HEALTHY AGING AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT, FAMILY CAREGIVER SUPPORT, ADVANCED CARE PLANNING CONVERSATIONS, AND BUILDING IDAHO'S HEALTH CARE WORKFORCE.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY PROGRAMS AND SERVICES, OFFERED IN SOUTHWEST IDAHO, PROVIDE SUPPORT TO LAUNCH AND GROW LOCAL BUSINESSES, MEET EMERGENCY FINANCIAL NEEDS AND CHAMPION FUTURE LEADERS. INITIAL RESETTLEMENT SERVICES INCLUDE ENGLISH LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION, CULTURAL ORIENTATION, EMPLOYMENT READINESS CLASSES, AND CONNECTION TO HOUSING, SCHOOL, EMPLOYMENT, AND HEALTH CARE. EXPANDED SERVICES INCLUDE COACHING AND SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL BUSINESSES, CONNECTION TO LAND FOR COMMUNITY GARDENING AND FARMING, SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS TO BUILD COMMUNITY AWARENESS AND RELATIONSHIPS, PROFESSIONAL MENTORING, AND SUPPORT TO RECLAIM PROFESSIONAL CAREERS IN THE UNITED STATES.
PUBLIC POLICY: PUBLIC POLICY PROGRAMS ARE A VOICE FOR IDAHO'S CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WITH AN EYE TOWARDS POLICIES THAT PROMOTE HEALTH, EDUCATION, AND CHILD WELL-BEING.
