GROW:CALIFORNIA SPECTRUM CARE OFFERS A COMMUNITY INTEGRATION PROGRAM CALLED THE GOALS FOR REACHING OCCUPATIONAL WORK (G.R.O.W.) PROGRAM WHICH IS DESIGNED TO TARGET THE NEEDS OF EVERY CLIENT ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. CLIENTS ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES THAT RANGE FROM COOKING CLASSES TO JOB SKILL TRAINING MODULES ON A WEEKLY BASIS THROUGH COMMUNITY-BASED INSTRUCTION. DUE TO COVID-19, CSC HAD TO ADJUST SERVICES IN 2020 TO MAINTAIN SERVICES FOR ALL CLIENTELE. IN 2021, CSC BEGAN TO TRANSITION TO MORE STANDARD IN PERSON SERVICES. CSC STILL MAINTAINED TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES FOR THOSE THAT WERE STILL UNABLE TO ATTEND IN PERSON.
AST: CALIFORNIA SPECTRUM CARE'S INNOVATIVE ADAPTIVE SKILLS TRAINING (AST) PROGRAM BRINGS IN HOME SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS DIAGNOSED WITH CONDITIONS THAT WARRANT AND ARE APPROVED BY/FOR REGIONAL CENTER SERVICES. CSC'S AST PROGRAM ADDRESSES THE MISSING OR UNDERDEVELOPED COMPONENTS IN AN INDIVIDUAL'S DEVELOPMENT THAT ARE CRUCIAL TO THE LEARNING PROCESS. CSC PROVIDES A SYSTEMATIC LEARNING EXPERIENCE BY TEACHING AN INDIVIDUAL A WIDE RANGE OF SKILLS INCLUDING: THE ABILITY TO SELF-REGULATE, APPROPRIATE COMMUNICATION, NEGOTIATION, ETC. EQUIPPING AN INDIVIDUAL WITH THESE SKILLS WILL BRIDGE A GAP COMMONLY OBSERVED IN INDIVIDUALS AND THE COMMUNITY.
