THE OPPORTUNITY FOUNDATION OF CENTRAL OREGON HAS BEEN SERVING PEOPLE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL AND INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES SINCE 1965. WE PROVIDE RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT AND VOCATIONAL SERVICES INCLUDING JOB TRAINING AND COACHING FOR 200+ INDIVIDUALS IN THE TRI-COUNTY AREA. WE ALSO OPERATE THREE THRIFT STORES, JANITORIAL SERVICES AND A RECYCLING OPERATION. AS ONE OF THE LARGEST PRIVATE EMPLOYERS IN THE REGION, THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL IMPACT WE HAVE IN THE AREA IS SUBSTANCIAL. OPERATING 8 RESIDENTIAL HOMES FOR BOTH CHILDREN AND ADULTS, WE PROVIDE 24/7 CARE FOR THE INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN THOSE HOMES. OUR SERVICES ALSO INCLUDE BEHAVIORAL, NURSING, DEPENDENT AND SEMI-INDEPENDENT LIVING SUPPORTS, AS WELL AS RECREATIONAL AND SOCIAL PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE A GREATER SENSE OF WELL-BEING AND COMMUNITY INCLUSION.
