THE LEARNING COALITION CONTINUED TO PARTNER WITH WILLING STAKEHOLDERS TO BUILD UNDERSTANDING OF AND CAPACITY FOR MULTI-STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION TO FURTHER STUDENT ENGAGEMENT. 2021 WAS A YEAR OF MANAGING INVESTMENTS MADE IN PREVIOUS YEARS AND FURTHERING TLC'S STRATEGIC VISION. THE FOLLOWING ARE A FEW HIGHLIGHTS OF TLC'S COMMITMENT TO SCHOOL-COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS: - IN RECOGNIZING HAWAII'S COMPLEX AREA SUPERINTENDENTS (CAS) AS STRATEGIC LEVERS OF CHANGE, TLC SUPPORTS A CAS COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE (COP), A PLATFORM TO SPREAD KNOWLEDGE ABOUT INNOVATION AND COMMUNITY-CENTERED EDUCATION WITHIN THE HAWAII EDUCATION SYSTEM. FOUR BELIEFS AND COMMITMENTS DEFINE CAS'S SHARED PURPOSE FOR THE COP: 1) TO CONTINUE TO LEARN TOGETHER TO BECOME LEADERS OF SYSTEMS LEVEL CHANGE IN HIDOE; 2) TO LEAD DIFFERENTLY IN AND WITH COMMUNITY; 3) TO SHARE THEIR LEARNING BROADLY WITH THE HAWAII EDUCATION ECOSYSTEM; AND 4) TO SHIFT THE COMPLIANCE CULTURE OF HIDOE TO AN INNOVATION CULTURE AND CHANGE THE WAY EDUCATION I
