TO ENCOURAGE LOCAL ARTISTS AND PROVIDE A VENUE FOR THEM TO BECOME KNOWN.

OVER THE COURSE OF 7 DAYS, PROJECT PLAYGROUND HAD OVER 1,700 VOLUNTEERS JOIN FORCES TO HELP REBUILD WINTERS' NEW PLAYGROUND. THE PLAYGROUND SERVES THE WINTERS COMMUNITY OF 7,000 INHABITANTS AS WELL AS SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES IN WESTERN YOLO COUNTY. PROJECT PLAYGROUND PLANS TO CONTINUE TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY BY TAKING ON NEW RECREATION PROJECTS, SUCH AS REVAMPING OTHER PLAYGROUNDS IN WINTERS.


NATURE CLUB INDENTIFIES ANIMALS IN PUTAH CREEK HABITAT AND LEARNS HOW TO PHOTOGRAPH THEM. MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM WITH 8-12 STUDENTS. PUTAH CREEK NATURE CLUB.


MURAL PROGRAM WINTERS HIGH SCHOOL INVOLVING STUDENTS IN PAINTING MURALS ON PUBLIC WALLS.
