MUSIC FORWARD'S NEXT-GEN PROGRAMS HELP BREAK THE BARRIERS OF GENDER, POVERTY, AND RACE TO ENTER THE MUSIC INDUSTRY. MUSIC FORWARD BRIDGES OUR COMMUNITIES TO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY, EMPOWERS AMBITION, AND CREATES MOMENTUM TO REDEFINE WHAT IS POSSIBLE FOR THE YOUTH AND INDUSTRY WE SERVE.

CREW NATION GLOBAL RELIEF FUND: IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LIVE NATION ENTERTAINMENT, MUSIC FORWARD ESTABLISHED THE CREW NATION GLOBAL RELIEF FUND TO SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC CREW MEMBERS WHO FACED HARDSHIP DURING THE PANDEMIC AND BEYOND. MUSIC FORWARD SERVES AS FISCAL SPONSOR OF THE FUND AND GRANT ADMINISTRATOR, MANAGING THE APPLICATION, REVIEW, AND AWARD PROCESS TO LIVE MUSIC CREW MEMBERS AROUND THE WORLD.
ARTIST AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT: MUSIC FORWARD INSPIRES MIDDLE, HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE-AGED YOUNG PEOPLE TO TURN THEIR PASSION FOR MUSIC INTO PROFESSIONS THROUGH OUR ARTIST AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT PATHWAYS WHICH TEACH THE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SUPPORTIVE NETWORKS REQUIRED FOR SUCCESSFUL CAREERS IN THE MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRIES.THE CAREER DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY FOCUSES ON BUSINESS CAREERS IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY LIKE PRODUCTION, MERCHANDISING, A&R, AND MARKETING WHILE THE ARTIST DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY IS DESIGNED FOR EMERGING YOUTH MUSICIANS AND INCLUDES PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES, COACHING AND LEARNING ABOUT THE BUSINESS OF BEING A PERFORMING ARTIST.
GIGTERNSHIPS: MUSIC FORWARD PROVIDES NEXT STEP OPPORTUNITIES FOR COLLEGE AGED YOUTH TO RECEIVE HANDS-ON LEARNING WITHIN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY. INTERNS RECEIVE FORMAL TRAINING, PARTICIPATE IN MENTORSHIPS AND JOB SHADOWS, AND BUILD SKILLS THROUGH TANGIBLE PROJECT WORK. INTERNSHIPS PREPARE AND PROVIDE ACCESS TO CAREERS IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY.
