OUR MISSION IS TO EMPOWER FAMILIES, BUILD COMMUNITIES, AND CREATE HOPE THROUGH A DYNAMIC HOME-BUILDING EFFORT BY INVITING PEOPLE FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE TO WORK TOGETHER IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IN CHEROKEE COUNTY.

CONSTRUCTION OF HOMES FOR ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES WERE PROVIDED ON HOMES ALREADY SOLD TO DESERVING FAMILIES IN CHEROKEE COUNTY.


THE COMMUNITY REHAB PROGRAM: PHASE ONE: A BRUSH WITH KINDNESS PROVIDES HOMEOWNERS WITH COSMETIC REPAIRS TO HOMES SUCH AS PAINT, MINOR CONSTRUCTION REPAIRS, AND PROPERTY BEAUTIFICATION. PHASE TWO: CRITICAL HOME REPAIR: THE CRITICAL HOME REPAIR PROJECT IS DESIGNED TO ASSIST ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED INDIVIDUALS WITH LARGE SCALE REPAIRS TO THEIR HOMES (EXAMPLE: ROOF REPLACEMENT OR REPAIRS, HVAC INSTALLATION, ENERGY STAR WINDOW AND DOORS INSTALLED, FLOORING AND SUB FLOORING INSTALLATION). PHASE THREE: HOME REHABILITATION: THE HOME REHABILITATION PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR HOMES OF ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE IN NEED OF MAJORITY OF HOME TO BE REPAIRED. THIS WOULD INCLUDE SEVERAL OF THE PROJECTS LISTED IN THE CRITICAL HOME REPAIR. THIS ALSO IS DESIGNED FOR HOMES THAT ARE DONATED TO HABITAT FOR RESALE, FORECLOSED HOMES, AND SEVERE HOMEOWNER SITUATIONS. (IF HOMES CANNOT BE REHABILITATED TO ENERGY STAR STANDARDS AND CANNOT BE SUSTAINABLE, THE PROJECT CANNOT BE APPROVED THROUGH THE AFFILIATE AND RELOCATION OF HOMEOWNERS IS RECOMMENDED. (THIS IS A LARGE SCALE OPERATION FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY).
