CONSTRUCTION SERVICES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CORPORATIONS, FOUNDATIONS, FAITH ORGANIZATIONS, CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS, FAYETTEVILLE HABITAT COMPLETED 30 NEW HOMES AND RESTORED 69 HOMES. FAYETTEVILLE AREA HABITAT FOR HUMANITY'S HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM IS A UNIQUE ECONOMIC MODEL DESIGNED TO PROMOTE FINANCIAL SELFSUFFICIENCY. THROUGH THE SUPPORT OF VOLUNTEER CONSTRUCTION CREWS, HABITAT IS ABLE TO OFFER FAMILIES AFFORDABLE MORTGAGES. DURING THE LIFE OF THE MORTGAGE, EACH MONTHLY PAYMENT IS RECYCLED INTO THE OPERATING BUDGET TO HELP FINANCE FUTURE HOMES.
RESTORE SERVICES: THE HABITAT RESTORE PROVIDES REVENUE FOR OUR AFFORDABLE HOMEOWNERSHIP MISSION AND TO PROVIDE HOME FURNISHING, APPLIANCES, BUILDING MATERIALS, AND OTHER ITEMS TO OUR HOMEOWNERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC AT A GREATLY REDUCED COST. BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS DONATE NEW AND USED ITEMS TO THE STORE. HOMEOWNERS AND OTHERS VOLUNTEER IN THE STORE, KEEPING THE OPERATING EXPENSES AS LOW AS POSSIBLE.
