SEA ISLAND HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, THE THIRD-OLDEST HABITAT FOR HUMANITY AFFILIATE IN THE WORLD, IS AN INDEPENDENT, NONPROFIT, ECUMENICAL, CHRISTIAN HOUSING MINISTRY THAT HAS SERVED ITS COMMUNITY AS AN AFFILIATE OF HABITAT FOR HUMANITY INTERNATIONAL SINCE 1978 AND HAS PROVIDED HOUSING SOLUTIONS FOR OVER 320 LOCAL FAMILIES. SEA ISLAND HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IS PART OF A GLOBAL, NONPROFIT HOUSING ORGANIZATION OPERATED ON CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES THAT SEEKS TO PUT GOD'S LOVE INTO ACTION BY BUILDING HOMES, COMMUNITIES AND HOPE. SEA ISLAND HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IS DEDICATED TO ELIMINATING SUBSTANDARD HOUSING LOCALLY AND WORLDWIDE THROUGH CONSTRUCTING, REHABILITATING AND PRESERVING HOMES; ADVOCATING FOR FAIR AND JUST HOUSING POLICIES; AND BY PROVIDING TRAINING AND ACCESS TO RESOURCES TO HELP FAMILIES IMPROVE THEIR SHELTER CONDITIONS.
