TO RAISE AWARENESS, EDUCATE, AND PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, TRAINING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VICTIMS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

WITH THE HELP OF DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, OFFICE OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN-OVW, SHNWC PROVIDES PROGRAMS TO CURB DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ABUSE AGAINST NATIVE WOMEN IN THE COMMUNITY. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES EDUCATION, OUTREACH, A DOMESTIC ABUSE HOTLINE, AND PROGRAMS TO HELP NATIVE AMERICAN WOMEN ACHIEVE SAFETY AND INDEPENDENCE THROUGH TRANSITIONAL HOUSING AND TRAINING PROGRAMS.
