SCACAP IS A STATEWIDE NONPROFIT COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATION THAT AIMS TO DEVELOP AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS TO PROMOTE SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR INCOME ELIGIBLE CHILDREN YOUTH INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES.

EARLY HEAD START PROGRAM: THIS PROGRAM HELPS TO RAISE THE QUALITY OF EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION IN THE COMMUNITY AND HELPS CHILDREN START SCHOOL READY TO SUCCEED. IT SUPPORTS HIGHER CALIBER CLASSROOM INSTRUCTIONS HOME VISITING SERVICES AND EFFECTIVE FAMILY ENGAGEMENT AND HEALTH PROMOTION. IT FOCUSES MAINLY ON PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE CHILD DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TO PREDOMINATELY ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.


KENTUCKY COMMUNITY ACTION ASSOCIATION - SUB RECIPIENT OF DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES REGIONAL PERFORMANCES AND INNOVATION CONSORTIA RPIC GRANT. THE STATE ASSOCIATION CAPACITY BUILDING GRANT IS TO BUILD THE COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAMS IN SOUTH CAROLINA THROUGH CONVENING OF MEETINGS COORDINATION OF SERVICES RESEARCH AND STATISTICS. THE WEATHERIZATION ASSOCIATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM WAP IS DESIGNED TO HELP INCOME QUALIFIED CUSTOMERS SAVE MONEY AND REDUCE THEIR BILLS AT NO COST.
