EARLY HEAD START PROGRAM: THIS PROGRAM HELPS TO RAISE THE QUALITY OF EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION IN THE COMMUNITY AND HELPS CHILDREN START SCHOOL READY TO SUCCEED. IT SUPPORT HIGHER CALIBER CLASSROOM INSTRUCTIONS HOME VISITING SERVICES AND EFFECTIVE FAMILY ENGAGEMENT AND HEALTH PROMOTIONS. IT FOCUSES MAINLY ON PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE CHILD DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TO PREDOMINANTLY ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.
DIAPER D.A.S.H: THIS PROJECT IS ADMINISTERED THROUGH THE SOUTH CAROLINA ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCIES INC. THIS PROGRAM IS MORE THAN JUST DIAPERS. IT IS AIMED TO INCREASE SELF -SUFFICIENCY FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES AND CHILDREN THROUGH MEETING AN IMMEDIATE NEED OF DIAPERS AND CONNECTING PARTICIPANTS WITH SERVICES TAILORED TOWARD THEIR SOCIAL NEEDS.
HEALTHY HOMES: THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES FREE HOME REPAIRS AND OTHER RESOURCES TO KEEP FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS SAFE FROM HEALTH HAZARDS. THE HEALTHY HOME INITIATIVES ADDRESSES VARIOUS ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SAFETY CONCERNS INCLUDING THE POTENTIAL FOR CHILDHOOD DISEASES OR WITH POSSIBLE INJURIES THAT OFTEN OCCUR IN HOMES.
