COASTAL COMMUNITY ACTION, INC (CCA) IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA FOR THE PURPOSE OF ASSISTING AND EMPOWERING DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE, PROVIDING THEM WITH THE TOOLS TO OVERCOME POVERTY, LIVE WITH DIGNITY, AND ACHIEVE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. CCA PROVIDES SERVICES IN NINE COUNTIES: CARTERET, CRAVEN, DUPLIN, JONES, LENOIR, NEW HANOVER, ONSLOW, PAMLICO, AND PENDER.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND FAMILY SERVICES THAT INCLUDE HEALTH, DENTAL, NUTRITION, EDUCATION, TRANSPORTATION, AND SOCIAL SERVICES FOR DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN.
COMMUNITY SERVICES, SENIOR CITIZEN, AND OTHER PROGRAMS PROVIDED FUNDS FOR SELF SUFFICIENCY, EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE, AND OTHER VARIOUS SUPPORT TO THE DISADVANTAGED.
HOUSING REPAIRS PROGRAM PROVIDED HOME WEATHERIZATION, URGENT REPAIR, SINGLE FAMILY REHABILITATION, AND HEATING APPLIANCE REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT TO LOW INCOME, ELDERLY AND HANDICAPPED INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
THE HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM PROVIDED SUBSIDIZED MONTHLY RENT FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES IN THE HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) SECTION 8 PROGRAM.
