CHILD EDUCATION - PROMOTES SCHOOL READINESS BY ENHANCING THE SOCIAL AND COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT OF ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN AND FAMILIES THROUGH THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, HEALTH, NUTRITION, SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL, MENTAL HEALTH, DISABILITIES, AND SOCIAL SERVICES. NUTIRTION, PREVENTATIVE HEALTH, AND SOCIAL SERVICES ARE ALSO PROVIDED.
WEATHERIZATION/ENERGY ASSISTANCE - PROVIDES ENERGY ASSISTANCE TO QUALIFIED LOW INCOME HOUSEHOLDS THAT DO NOT HAVE THE MEANS TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE HEATING FOR THEIR HOMES. ALSO, PROVIDES MATERIALS AND LABOR TO WEATHERIZE THE HOMES OF QUALIFIED LOW INCOME HOUSEHOLDS.
COMMUNITY SERVICE - PROVIDES SERVICES TO THE POOR AND NEAR POOR TO REDUCE OR ELIMINATE THE CAUSE OF POVERTY. SPECIFIC SERVICE AREAS INCLUDE HEALTH, HOUSING, EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION, SELF-SUFFICIENCY, INCOME MANAGEMENT, AND NUTRITION.
