COMMUNITY BUILDING - IN FY22, ONE NORTHSIDE BUILT COMMUNITY BY ENGAGING IN VIOLENCE PREVENTION ACTIVITIES, HOLDING COMMUNITY TRAININGS, PROVIDING MUTUAL AID AND SUPPORT.
HOUSING - ONE NORTHSIDE WORKED TO ORGANIZE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY IN NEED OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO MEET WITH DEVELOPERS AND OTHERS TO PRESERVE AND CREATE NEW AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN THE COMMUNITY AND THROUGHOUT CHICAGO.
EDUCATION - ONE NORTHSIDE COORDINATED THE PARENT MENTOR PROGRAM IN 3 LOCAL SCHOOLS AND ENGAGED LOCAL PARENTS AND STUDENTS IN TRAINING ON COMMUNITY ORGANIZING AND LOCAL SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES.
