OLD FRIENDS CLUBS OFFERS ENGAGING ACTIVITIES AND A SENSE OF BELONGING FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH DEMENTIA, AND AFFORDABLE RESPITE FOR THEIR CARE PARTNERS. OUR MISSION IS TO CULTIVATE JOY IN THE LIVES OF ADULTS WITH COGNITIVE CHALLENGES AND NOURISH THE WELL-BEING OF CAREGIVERS.

Part 3

OLD FRIEND CLUB OPERATED IN THREE LOCATIONS FOR THE FIRST 3 MONTHS OF 2020, PROVIDING MUCH NEEDED CAREGIVER RESPITE AND SUPPORT. AS COVD-19 RESTRICTIONS DEVELOPED THESE PROGRAMS CLOSED. PROGRAM REVENUES WHICH WERE PREPAID, WERE RETURNED TO THE PARTICIPANT. AFTER THE PROGRAMS CLOSED DUE TO COVID, OFC RESEARCHED AND ASSEMBLED COMMUNITY RESOURCES FOR VIRTUAL SUPPORT AND EVENTS AND AND PRESENTED THEM IN TWICE MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS TO KEEP CAREGIVING FAMILIES CONNECTED AND INFORMED.
