THIS INCLUDES RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING RELATED POLICY IMPACTS THAT WOULD BE USEFUL TO THE INDIVIDUAL AND BENEFICIAL TO THE COMMUNITY.

PROJECT RISE RESILIENCY INPROVEMENT SUPPORT AND EDUCATION WITH NON-PROFIT PARTNERS IN MANILA THE PHILIPPINES: PHILMCAST AND ASSIST ASIA. PROJECT RISE AIMS TO ADDRESS THE LOW LEVEL OF DISASTER PREPAREDNESS CAPACITY AMONG COMMUNITIES IN THE REGION. THE OBJECTIVE OF PROJECT RISE IS TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT DISASTER PREPAREDNESS PROGRAMS. LESSONS LEARNED FROM SUCH PROGRAMS COULD BE ADOPTED FOR USE IN VARIOUS COASTAL AREAS OF THE UNITED STATES AS A MEANS OF PREPARING CITIZENS FOR CLIMATE DRIVEN DISASTERS.
