TO ADVANCE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PUBLIC MULTI-CAMPUS SYSTEMS OF POST- SECONDARY EDUCATION IN THE U.S.; TO SERVE AS A FORUM FOR THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION AND PERSPECTIVES RELATING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY TO THE ADMINISTRATION AND LEADERSHIP OF SYSTEMS OF HIGHER EDUCATION; TO WORK TO MAXIMIZE OPPORTUNITIES AND TO RESOLVE COMMON PROBLEMS IN HIGHER EDUCATION.

NASH REPRESENTS THE VOICE OF PUBLIC HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEMS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES, INCLUDING MORE THAN 400 INDIVIDUAL INSTITUTIONS SERVING OVER 6 MILLION STUDENTS. FOUNDED IN 1979 AS A FORUM FOR EXCHANGING VIEWS AND INFORMATION AMONGST CHIEF EXECUTIVES, TODAY, NASH BUILDS THE CAPACITY OF PUBLIC HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEMS TO TAKE COORDINATED ACTION THAT RESOLVES COMMON PROBLEMS AND MAXIMIZES MEASURABLE RESULTS FOR THE STUDENTS AND COMMUNITIES WE SERVE.
