IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION EXECUTED ON CONTINUING TO DEPLOY NEEDED FINANCING BY UNDERSERVED ENTREPRENEURS. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED TO INCREASE THE KC REGIONAL COVID-19 RELIEF LOAN FUND WHICH DEPLOYED NEARLY 4 MILLION IN EMERGENCY LOANS TO OVER 100 SMALL BUSINESSES THAT WERE FORCED TO CLOSE DUE TO NECESSARY PUBLIC HEALTH MEASURES. WITH ZERO INTEREST FOR THE FIRST 6-12 MONTHS AND FLEXIBLE COLLATERAL AND CREDIT REQUIREMENTS, THESE MICROLOANS WERE A CRITICAL LIFELINE FOR MANY STRUGGLING BUSINESSES. IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED ACTING AS A CERTIFIED PPP LENDER, DEPLOYING MORE THAN 4 MILLION IN FUNDING TO HUNDREDS OF BUSINESSES. WITH AN AVERAGE PPP LOAN SIZE OF LESS THAN 20000, THE ORGANIZATION SERVED SMALL BUSINESSES THAT DIDNT HAVE ACCESS TO PPP FUNDS FROM TRADITIONAL FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS
