VMA WAS FOUNDED IN 1993 WITH THE MISSION TO HELP VIETNAMESE IMMIGRANTS ASSIMILATE TO AMERICAN CULTURE. TODAY, THE VMA SERVES ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY FROM ALL ETHNIC AND CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS. HOWEVER, THE MAJORITY OF OUR CLIENTS ARE VIETNAMESE AMERICANS BECAUSE OF OUR ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM IN THEIR NATIVE LANGUAGE. THE VMA UNDERSTANDS THE IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY, WHICH IS A VALUE THAT RUNS THROUGH MANY CULTURES. WE ALSO BELIEVE IN RESPECTING AND CARING FOR THE ELDERLY, WHICH IS WHY THE VMA FOCUSES ON PCA AND HOMECARE SERVICES. WE SPECIALIZE IN HELPING FAMILIES PROVIDE PCA AND HOMEMAKING SERVICES TO THEIR ELIGIBLE FAMILY MEMBERS.

ASSIST VIETNAMESE REFUGEES AND IMMIGRANTS TO BECOME SELF-RELIANT BY PROVIDING A VARIETY OF SUPPORT SERVICES INCLUDING IN-HOME PERSONAL HEALTH CARE, WALK IN HELP WITH TRANSLATING, AND NOTARY SERVICES.
