FRIENDS INC. EMPOWERS AND PROVIDES SAFETY TO THOSE AFFECTED BY DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE THROUGH SUPPORT SERVICES AND PREVENTION EDUCATION IN WASHINGTON COUNTY. DURING 2021 WE PROVIDED 5114 NIGHTS OF SAFE SHELTER AND TRANSITIONAL SUPPORT TO 79 INDIVIDUALS; RESPONDED TO 1,056 CRISIS CALLS; PROVIDED PREVENTION EDUCATION TO 6,790 YOUTH AND ADULTS; AND PROVIDED OUTREACH SERVICES INCLUDING LEGAL ASSISTANCE AND ADVOCACY TO 342 INDIVIDUALS.
