THE PURPOSE OF VINE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE AND WELLBEING OF ALL VINE NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTS REGARDLESS OF RACE, RELIGION, AGE, MARITAL STATUS, PHYSICAL DISABILITY, POLITICAL BELEIFS, OR ECONOMIC STATUS, AND TO ENSURE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURSUE A MORE SATISFACTORY WAY OF LIFE THROUGH DEMOCRATIC PRINCIPLES. THE PRINCIPLES OF DEMOCRATIC GROUP ACTION SHALL RULE ALL ASPECTS OF THIS ORGANIZATION IN SUCH A WAY THAT THE VINE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION'S HISTORY OF EMPHASIS ON VOLUNTEER ACTION, SELF-DIRECTION, SHARED LEADERSHIP, AND CONECENSUS DECISION MAKING WILL BE MAINTAINED AND NURTURED WITHIN THIS COMMUNITY.
