MATERNAL, INFANT, AND EARLY CHILDHOOD HOME VISITNG PROGRAM - THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE MIECHV HOME VISITING PROGRAM IS TO STREGTHEN AND IMPROVE THE PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITRIES CARRIED OUT UNDER TITLE V AND TO IMPROVE OUTCOMES FOR FAMILIES WHO RESIDE IN AT RISK COMMUNITIES.
CDC HOP - THE CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL FUNDS 15 LAND GRANT UNIVERSITIES TO WORK WITH COMMUNITY EXTENSION SERVICES IN COUNTIES WHERE MORE THAN 40% OF ADULTS HAVE OBESITY. EFFORTS FOCUS ON INCREASING ACCESS TO HEALTHIER FOODS AND SAFE PLACES FOR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, INCLUDING ACTIVITIES THAT WILL REDUCE OR ELIMINATE HEALTH DISPARITIES RELATED TO NUTRITION, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, AND OBESITY. ONE OF THOSE UNIVERSITIES IS NDSU, WHO HAS CONTRACTED WITH PCAND TO DELIVER THIS PROGRAM IN NORTH DAKOTA FOR INDIGENOUS POPULATIONS.
