PARENT EDUCATORS IS A CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION PROGRAM THAT HAS WORKED CLOSELY WITH OLMSTED COUNTY FOR MORE THAN TWENTY YEARS. THE GOALS OF THIS PROGRAM ARE TO KEEP CHILDREN SAFE, TEACH POSITIVE PARENTING SKILLS, EMPOWER PARENTS TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF ABUSE, PROMOTE PROBLEM SOLVING AND WORK TOWARDS FAMILY REUNIFICATION. THE PRIMARY CONCERNS ARE THE SAFETY, PERMANENCY, AND WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN.
