WHITING PARK FESTIVAL ORCHESTRA PROVIDES PERFORMANCES BY A REGIONALLY ORGANIZED SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, COMPLIMENTARY PERFORMANCES BY MUSICIANS, SINGERS, AND ACTORS IN THE CITY OF WHITING, TO ADVANCE CLASSICAL MUSIC AS AN ART AND TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF WHITING, NORTHWEST INDIANA, AND THOSE WITH A GENERAL INTEREST IN SYMPHONIC OR ORCHESTRAL.
