SEE SCHEDULE ODISCOVER KLAMATH OPERATES A WELCOME/VISITOR CENTER WHERE OUT-OF-AREA VISITORS ARE GREETED AND HELPED ANNUALLY WITH THEIR TRAVEL PLANS. THEY RECEIVE AND FULFILL THOUSANDS OF INFORMATION INQUIRIES FROM POTENTIAL VISITORS AS A RESULT OF THEIR ANNUAL MARKETING EFFORTS TO ATTRACT VISITATION. DISCOVER KLAMATH'S MARKETING OF THE 6,150 SQUARE MILE REGION, COMMONLY KNOWN AS KLAMATH COUNTY, FOCUSES ON ACTIVE TRAVELERS THROUGHOUT THE WESTERN USA. DISCOVER KLAMATH USES AN INTEGRATED MARKETING APPROACH THAT INCLUDES TRADE SHOWS, NEWSLETTERS, WEBSITES, EMAIL MARKETING, WEBSITE ADVERTISING, DIGITAL RETARGETING, MAGAZINE ADVERTISEMENTS, SOCIAL MEDIA, PUBLIC RELATIONS, DATA MINING, MARKETING PARTNERSHIPS, PRINTED MATERIALS, AND MORE. INBOUND VISITORS LEAVE OVER $380 MILLION BEHIND, WHICH SUPPORTS OVER 4,000 TOURISM-RELATED JOBS, AND SUPPORTS HUNDREDS OF LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES.
