THE PURPOSES OF THE CORPORATION ARE CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL, EACH WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986 (OR ANY CORRESPONDING PROVISION(S) OF ANY FUTURE UNITED STATES INTERNAL REVENUE LAW) AND SECTION 23701D OF THE CALIFORNIA REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE (OR ANY CORRESPONDING PROVISION(S) OF ANY FUTURE CALIFORNIA INTERNAL REVENUE LAW). IN THE CONTEXT OF THESE GENERAL PURPOSES, THE CORPORATION SHALL IMPROVE THE CONDITIONS OF THE PUBLIC REALM OF THE GREATER MID-MARKET AREA IN SAN FRANCISCO, CA, AND TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THE POOR AND DISADVANTAGED IN THAT COMMUNITY.

COMMUNITY BASED SAFETY PROGRAMCONTINUED TO PROVIDE ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT TO THE COMMUNITY BASED SAFETY PROGRAM. RECEIVED A $20M GRANT FROM THE CITY OF SAN FRANCISCO TO CONTINUE THE PROGRAM IN 2022. THROUGH SUBCONTRACTOR, URBAN ALCHEMY, PROVIDED OVER 200 AMBASSADORS PER DAY TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE ON 80 BLOCK FACES FROM 7:00AM TO 7:00PM, 7 DAYS A WEEK.NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION PROGRAMDEVELOPED THE RE-THINK, RE-ENVISION, RE-EXPERIENCE MID-MARKET ECONOMIC RECOVERY STRATEGIES. CONDUCTED COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDER FOCUS GROUPS. ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS, DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS. ENGAGED A NATIONAL RETAIL CONSULTANT AND AN ARTS ACTIVATION CONSULTANT. RECEIVED CITY OF SAN FRANCISCO GRANT FOR $150,000 FOR THIS PROJECT. RECEIVED A $100,000 GRANT FROM DOLBY LABORATORIES ALSO FOR THIS PROJECT. IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROGRAM TO BEGIN IN 2023.
