CLOTHES CABIN IS A STORE MAINTAINED BY THE ORGANIZATION WHICH PROVIDES CLOTHING, SHOES AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO LOW AND NO INCOME INDIVIDUALS FREE OF CHARGE. CLIENTS SELECT CLOTHING UP TO FOUR TIMES PER YEAR. WHILE THE ORGANIZATION PURCHASES SOME CLOTHING TO BE PROVIDED TO CLIENTS, THE MAJORITY COMES FROM IN-KIND DONATIONS.
IN AN EFFORT TO ENSURE THAT ALL DONATIONS RECEIVED CAN BE USED TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THOSE IN NEED, ANY DONATIONS NOT ABLE TO BE DONATED THROUGH CLOTHES CABIN OR SOLD IN THE FRIENDS RESALE BOUTIQUE ARE DONATED TO OTHER SIMILARLY FOCUSED ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDING ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS IN OTHER COUNTRIES.
HOMELESS CLIENTS ARE PROVIDED WITH FREE LAUNDRY, SHOWERS, LOCKER AND MAILBOXES TO IMPROVE THEIR HEALTH, HYGIENE, AND SELF-ESTEEM.
