COMMUNITY RELIEF AND RECOVERY EFFORTS: TOTAL PACK PICK-UPS 43; 157 COMMUNITY MEMBERS SERVED RELIEF PACKS DISTRIBUTED IN JAN MARCH: 121 PACKS WOOD PACKS: 42 (JAN - MAR) BAG OF COAL: 20 (JAN - MAR) WINTER WEAR DRIVE DISTRIBUTION: 16 TRANSIENTS/ 23 YOUTH RECIPIENTS DONATIONS WERE EXCEPTED THROUGHOUT DEC 2020 FEB 2021 AND DISTRIBUTED IN PERSON TO INDIVIDUALS AND YOUTH IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES. ELDER OUTREACH PROJECTS (APRIL JUNE): 4 STOVES & 20 WATER TANKS. OUTREACH PROJECTS INCLUDED PROVIDING WATER TANKS, IN ADDITION TO, STOVE FIXTURES AND REPAIR DURING THE COLDER MONTHS. YOUTH EMPLOYMENT: YOUTH FELLOWS 2021 - RECRUITED 3 TEENAGERS FOR SUMMER EMPLOYMENT THROUGHOUT JUNE & JULY; TOTAL APPLIED 7 MYCELLIUM YOUTH NETWORK WITH BIONEERS: RECRUITED 5 YOUTH; STORY CREATIONS AND WRITING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE YOUTH. ROCK THE BLOCK: JULY 2021 FIRST LIVE, IN-PERSON MUSIC EVENT HELD BY REZ REFUGE THAT FEATURED 13 LOCAL INDIGENOUS ARTISTS. FEATURED VENUE WAS THE BASKETBALL COURT LOCATED BEHIND THE REZ REFUGE COMMUNITY CENTER. BEGAN DOING INFO-BOOTHS AT THE LOCAL MARKET AND PUBLIC AREAS WHERE INFORMATION IS DISBURSED, AND DONATIONS CAN BE ACCEPTED AS WELL. INCREASE IN DONATIONS THROUGH THIS INFORMAL EFFORT. RECEIVED A DONATION OF 30 PAIRS OF NIKE SHOES FROM NIKE TO GIVE TO OUR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON.
