THE MISSION OF SHELTERBOX USA IS TO DELIVER HUMANITARIAN RELIEF IN THE FORM OF EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS THAT BRING SHELTER, WARMTH & DIGNITY TO PEOPLE MADE HOMELESS BY NATURAL OR OTHER DISASTERS WORLDWIDE.

CORONAVIRUS IS AN UNPRECEDENTED GLOBAL HUMANITARIAN EMERGENCY WHICH HAS CREATED MORE DANGER FOR MANY OF THE WORLD'S MOST VULNERABLE PEOPLE. IT ADDS ANOTHER LAYER OF THREAT TO THOSE HAVE LOST THEIR HOMES TO DISASTERS LIKE WAR, EXTREME WEATHER EVENTS AND NATURAL DISASTERS. IN 2020, DESPITE THE GLOBAL CHALLENGES, SHELTERBOX HELPED 197,000 PEOPLE WHO LOST EVERYTHING THROUGH CONFLICT OR NATURAL DISASTER. WE RESPONDED 17 TIMES TO DROUGHT, TYPHOON, FLOODING, VOLCANO, AND CONFLICT AND PROVIDED 197,000 PEOPLE ACROSS 13 COUNTRIES WITH EMERGENCY SHELTER AND LIFE-SAVING AID ITEMS INCLUDING BLANKETS, MOSQUITO NETS, SOLAR LIGHTS, COOKING SETS, AND WATER FILTERS. ITEMS LIKE TOOLS AND TARPAULINS HELPED BUILD SHELTERS THAT ALLOWED FAMILIES TO SELF-ISOLATE, WHILE THE ADDITION OF NEW AID ITEMS LIKE SOAP, MASKS AND HANDWASHING BASINS HELPED LIMIT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19.
