PADUA VILLAGE (RESIDENTIAL HOMES)THE PROGRAM IS COMPRISED OF TWO SUPERVISED RESIDENTIAL HOMES AND IS DESIGNED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF ADULTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES LONG TERM RESIDENCES FOR INDIVIDUAL WHO HAVE COMPLETED REHABILITATION PROGRAMS AND REQUIRE CONTINUING SUPERVISION WHILE LIVING IN THE LEAST RESTRICTIVE ENVIRONMENT. THE PROGRAM PROMOTES SELF RELIANCE AND CONTINUED PERSONAL GROWTH. DURING THE YEAR THE PROGRAM AVERAGED 12.0 RESIDENTS PER MONTH.CASA COLINA AT LUCERNE VALLEYTHIS IS A RESIDENTIAL FACILITY WHICH OFFERS LONG TERM OR BRIEF RESPITE CARE TO INDIVIDUALS WITH TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY. THESE INDIVIDUALS ARE MORE BEHAVIORALLY CHALLENGED WHICH MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO RETURN TO SOCIETY. THEY MUST RELEARN THE APPROPRIATE WAY TO INTERACT AND COMMUNICATE WITH OTHERS. RESIDENTS ARE PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOCATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL AND PARTICIPATION IN SUPERVISED COMMUNITY AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES, ALL THE WHILE DEVELOPING THEIR OWN PERSONAL LIVING SKILLS. THE PROGRAM HAD AN AVERAGE MONTHLY CENSUS OF 28 PARTICIPANTS DURING THE YEAR.CASA COLLINA AT APPLE VALLEYTHIS IS A RESIDENTIAL FACILITY FOR BRAIN INJURED INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE BEHAVIORALLY APPROPRIATE FOR INCREASED SELF SUFFICIENCY, HAVE THE ABILITY TO INTERACT SOCIALLY BUT STILL NEED A SUPERVISED AND STRUCTURED ENVIRONMENT. THE FACILITY PROVIDES AN ENVIRONMENT RANGING FROM MAXIMUM ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING IN SKILL REDEVELOPMENT TO LIGHT SUPERVISION AND ASSISTANCE. ACCORDING TO THEIR ABILITIES, RESIDENTS ARE PROVIDED THE OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN VOCATIONAL, COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND ARE GIVEN A CHANCE TO MAXIMIZE THEIR POTENTIAL.
