PUBLIC EDUCATION - PROVIDE EDUCATION AND AWARENESS BY RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS AND FOSTERING SOCIAL ACCEPTANCE. EDUCATING PROFESSIONALS TO BETTER SERVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN, ADULTS AND FAMILIES CHALLENGED BY TOURETTE AND TIC DISORDERS. ADVOCATING FOR PUBLIC POLICIES AND SERVICES THAT PROMOTE POSITIVE SCHOOL, WORK AND SOCIAL ENVIRONMENTS. PROVIDING HELP, HOPE AND A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY ACROSS THE NATION. EMPOWERING OUR COMMUNITY TO DEAL WITH THE COMPLEXITIES OF THIS SPECTRUM OF DISORDERS.


RESEARCH & MEDICAL PROGRAMS - WORKING TO ADVANCE SCIENTIFIC UNDERSTANDING, TREATMENT OPTIONS AND CARE OPTIONS FOR THE DISORDER BY PROVIDING FUNDING FOR RESEARCH INVESTIGATIONS IN THE AREAS OF NEUROSCIENCES, GENETICS, BEHAVIORIAL THERAPY, CLINICAL TRIALS.


CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL (CDC) PARTNERSHIP - THE ASSOCIATION AND CDC WORK TOGETHER TO PROVIDE EXPERT EDUCATION ABOUT TOURETTE SYNDROME TO PHYSICIANS AND ALLIED PROFESSIONAL AND TO ENCOURAGE PHYSICIANS TO APPLY TO THE ASSOCIATIONS ' REFERRAL LISTS.
