COMMITTED TO NORTH PHILADELPHIA'S FAIRHILL COMMUNITY SINCE 1993, PROVIDENCE CENTER OFFERS EDUCATION PROGRAMMING FOR CHILDREN, YOUTH, AND ADULTS. OUR MISSION IS TO EDUCATE PEOPLE TO HAVE THE POWER AND SPIRIT TO TRANSFORM THEIR LIVES AND COMMUNITY.

IN THE SPIRIT OF THE SOCIETY OF THE HOLY CHILD JESUS, PROVIDENCE CENTER ENDEAVORS TO BE "A LOVE FULL OF ACTION" IN THE FAIRHILL SECTION OF NORTH PHILADELPHIA. WE WELCOME EVERYONE WHO HAS A NEED FOR OUR PROGRAMS, INCLUDING THE ECONOMICALLY POOR AND MANY WHO ARE NEW TO THE COUNTRY. RESPECTING THE UNIQUE DIGNITY OF OUR STUDENTS, PROVIDENCE CENTER IS A SAFE AND HOSPITABLE PLACE WHERE THEY CAN BUILD THEIR SKILLS AND FIND COMMUNITY. WHILE FAIRHILL FACES MANY CHALLENGES, INCLUDING POVERTY AND VIOLENCE, WE BELIEVE OUR STUDENTS HAVE THE POWER TO TRANSFORM THEIR LIVES AND COMMUNITY.
