THE CAHN FELLOWS DISTINGUISHED PRINCIPALS PROGRAM: OUR FLAGSHIP PROGRAM, FEATURING FACULTY FROM TEACHERS COLLEGE, COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY, PROVIDES BOTH RECOGNITION AND ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR THE HIGHEST PERFORMING PRINCIPALS AROUND THE COUNTRY. OUR PROGRAM RECOGNIZES, SUPPORTS AND EMPOWERS PRINCIPALS AS THEY NAVIGATE THE CHALLENGES OF LEADERSHIP. OUR CURRICULUM PRIORITIZES EQUITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION, BALANCING ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL LEARNING WITH WELLNESS. PARTICIPANTS CREATE LONG-LASTING NETWORKS OF PEERS FROM ACROSS THE NATION, LEARNING FROM AND WITH EACH OTHER. THIS PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE TO PRINCIPALS IN NEW YORK CITY, CHICAGO, DENVER, MIAMI, TAMPA, ATLANTA, ARLINGTON, DALLAS, SAN ANTONIO AND LOS ANGELES AND PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY
THE CAHN ACCOMPLISHED PRINCIPALS PROGRAM: PARTNER CITY DISTRICTS AND ALUMNI HAVE TOLD THE ORGANIZATION THE ENORMOUS IMPORTANCE OF PROGRAMMING FOR 3-4 YEAR PRINCIPALS. THEY KNOW THAT THE 3-4 YEAR POINT IS A CRISIS STAGE AND THAT PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IS TYPICALLY NOT AVAILABLE TO THIS GROUP.
THE CAHN FELLOWS ALUMNI PROGRAM: PROGRAMS DESIGNED FOR ALUMNI WHO CONTINUE TO BE ADULT LEARNERS AND HAVE A DESIRE TO NETWORK WITH THEIR PEERS. ENGAGING ALUMNI WILL ENTAIL: (A) THE EXPANSION OF ALUMNI PROGRAMMING IN EACH CITY TO BROADEN THE NETWORK OF DISTINGUISHED CAHN FELLOWS; (B) THE DEEPENING OF LOCAL RELATIONSHIPS IN EACH PARTNER CITY BY CREATING A CIRCLE OF INFLUENCE INCLUSIVE OF FELLOWS, ALUMNI, ADVISORY COUNCIL MEMBERS AND SCHOOL DISTRICTS; (C) THE HOSTING OF ANNUAL NATIONAL CAHN FELLOWS CONFERENCES TO RECONNECT ALUMNI; AND (D) AND THE EXPANSION OF PROGRAM CONTENT THROUGH ALUMNI-CREATED WEBINARS.
