WE AIM TO CREATE A MOVEMENT UNITED BY THE COMMON LANGUAGE OF CONSTITUTIONAL VALUES. THREATS TO OUR DEMOCRACY, SUCH AS MISINFORMATION, FOREIGN INTERVENTION, AND DEMAGOGUERY WILL NOT DISAPPEAR. BUT WE CAN CREATE RESILIENCE TO THOSE DANGERS BY WORKING TOGETHER TO PROMOTE DEMOCRATIC PRINCIPLES AND CIVIC BEHAVIOR IN THE PUBLIC SPHERE.

RDI CONFRONTS AND EXPOSES THE INTERNATIONAL ALLIANCE OF DICTATORS AND IN DOING SO, IT INSPIRES PEOPLE IN THE US AND IN OTHER FREE COUNTRIES TO VALUE AND DEFEND THEIR OWN DEMOCRACIES. IT ACCOMPLISHES THIS MISSION THROUGH A FOCUS ON EDUCATION, ADVOCACY, AND ACTION. RDI CREATES CONTENT HIGHLIGHTING THE VOICES OF DISSIDENTS - PEOPLE WHO HAVE RISKED THEIR LIVES FOR SOME SEMBLANCE OF FREEDOM IN THEIR OWN COUNTRIES - TO BOTH EMPHASIZE THE VALUE OF DEMOCRACY AND REVEAL THE MANY THREATS IT FACES. IT ORGANIZES EVENTS THAT UNITE PEOPLE FROM A DIVERSE ARRAY OF COMMUNITIES AND MOVEMENTS IN DEFENSE OF FREEDOM. IT ENGAGES IN SPECIAL PROJECTS WHERE IT CAN HAVE UNIQUE LEVERAGE TO EFFECT CHANGE AMONG KEY PUBLIC THOUGHT LEADERS. AND IT ENGAGES IN DIRECT ACTION TO HELP THOSE FIGHTING ON THE FRONTLINES OF THE GLOBAL BATTLE BETWEEN FREEDOM AND TYRANNY. SINCE FEBRUARY 24TH, 2022, RDI HAS FOCUSED ON SUPPORTING UKRAINE THROUGH HUMANITARIAN GRANT-MAKING AND PUBLIC EDUCATION CAMPAIGNS AS KYIV HAS BECOME THE EPICENTER OF THIS FIGHT
