SEE'S COMMUNITY FUND IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. IT IS ORGANIZED TO RAISE MONEY THROUGH SEE'S CANDY SALES TO: - PAY FOR CANCER SCREENINGS FOR UNINSURED OR UNDERINSURED - HELP WITH TRANSPORTATION OF CANCER PATIENTS - HELP WITH EMERGENCY PATIENT NEEDS. - WE WILL SUPPORT OTHER CANCER RELATED PROJECTS. - WE DO NOT PAY FOR ANY TREATMENT. - WE WILL PARTNER WITH OTHER NON-PROFITS TO HELP THEM WITH THEIR PROJECTS AS THEY HELP US WITH SALES.

THE MAIN PURPOSE OF OUR ORGANIZATION IS TO HELP CANCER PATIENTS WITH TRAVEL AND OTHER EXPENSES INVOLVED WITH CANCER. SEE'S COMMUNITY FUND PROVIDED DIRECT PATIENT ASSISTANCE FOR TRAVEL AND LODGING VIA 29 APPLICATIONS FROM 20 LOCAL LOW-INCOME CANCER PATIENTS BETWEEN JULY 1, 2023 AND JUNE 30, 2024. WE ALSO COVERED THE COSTS OF ONE MAMMOGRAM FOR ONE LOW-INCOME UNINSURED WOMAN. SO, 20 INDIVIDUALS WERE ASSISTED THIS FISCAL YEAR.


SEE'S COMMUNITY FUND PARTNERED WITH TWO OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE VOLUNTEER COVERAGE 5 HOURS PER WEEK, FIVE DAYS PER WEEK (AND SPECIAL SATURDAY HOURS PRIOR TO BIG HOLIDAYS) FROM JULY 1, 2023 THRU JUNE 30, 2024. PARTNER VOLUNTEERS HELPED COVER 1,360 HOURS OF THE CANDY STORE BEING OPEN THIS FISCAL YEAR. IN EXCHANGE, MOST OF THE NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ACCEPTED PAYMENT OF 5% OF THE DAY'S SALES AS FUNDRAISING REVENUE FOR THEIR OWN ORGANIZATIONS. SOME OF THESE NON-PROFIT PARTNERS ALSO PROVIDE BOARD MEMBERS AND OPERATIONAL SUPPORT FOR SEE'S COMMUNITY FUND. THE PARTNERS WERE QUOTA EUREKA AND PREGNANCY CARE CENTER OF EUREKA.
