WE PREPARED AND DELIVERED APPOXIMATELY 12,000 HOT AND 6,200 FROZEN MEALS TO INDIVIDUALS CONFINED TO THEIR HOMES AND UNABLE TO COOK ADEQUATELY FOR THEMSELVES DUE TO AGE, ILLNESS, INJURY OR DISABILITY. THE NUMBER OF OUR MEAL PARTICIPANTS VARIES, IS SOMEWHAT SEASONAL, AND TENDS TO BE HIGHER IN THE WINTER. THIS IS OUR ONLY PROGRAM WHICH IS TO COOK AND DELIVER HOT, NUTRITIOUS MEALS TO THE HOMEBOUND WHO ARE IN NEED. ALL MEALS ARE DELIVERED BY VOLUNTEERS WHO DRIVE THEIR OWN VEHICLES AND PAY FOR THEIR OWN GASOLINE EXPENSES.
