THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES THANKSGIVING MEALS TO FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS IN NEED THROUGHOUT CENTRAL OHIO. IN 2021, THE BYRON SAUNDERS FOUNDATION DISTRIBUTED MORE THAN 6,200 MEALS THROUGH OUTLETS IN SEVEN CENTRAL OHIO COUNTIES.

THE BYRON SAUNDERS FOUNDATION PROVIDED 6,203 CENTRAL OHIO FAMILIES WITH THANKSGIVING MEALS IN 2021 THROUGH ITS CHAPTERS IN FRANKLIN, DELAWARE, FAIRFIELD, KNOX, LICKING, UNION AND PICKAWAY COUNTIES. THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES MUCH OF ITS COMMUNITY SUPPORT THROUGH VOLUNTEER TIME AND DONATIONS OF FOOD. THE ORGANIZATION RELIES HEAVILY ON NON-CASH CONTRIBUTIONS. IN 2021, NEARLY 58.9 PERCENT OF CONTRIBUTIONS CONSISTED OF FOOD INVENTORY. THE VALUE OF THESE DONATIONS TOTALED $152,177.
