THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE A HOT NUTRITIOUS MEAL TO ANYONE WHO HAS DIFFICULTY SHOPPING FOR FOOD OR PREPARING MEALS REGARDLESS OF INCOME. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED PRIMARILY TO SENIOR CITIZENS WITH SERVICE TO OTHERS IN SPECIAL NEEDS SITUATIONS.

MEALS WERE SERVED MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY OF EVERY WEEK, INCLUDING HOLIDAYS. APPROXIMATELY 108 MEALS WERE PREPARED AND DELIVERED DAILY, UTILIZING PRIMARILY VOLUNTEERS. THE ORGANIZATION EMPLOYS ONE FULL TIME AND ONE PART TIME COOK AND PROGRAM ASSISTANT. CLIENTS WERE CHARGED A NOMINAL FEE OF 5.00 A DAY FOR LUNCH AND DINNER. A TOTAL OF 26,545 MEALS WERE SERVED DURING THE YEAR, A DECREASE OF APPROXIMATELY 5,624 FROM THE PRIOR YEAR. THE GOAL OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO SERVE 200 MEALS DAILY IN THE NEXT THREE YEARS.
