TO PREPARE AND DELIVER NUTRITIOUS, AFFORDABLE MEALS TO THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED LIVING WITHIN THE STATE COLLEGE SCHOOL DISTRICT TO HELP MAINTAIN THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE AND ALLOW THEM TO REMAIN IN THEIR OWN HOMES.DURING 2022, MEALS ON WHEELS HIRED A NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR WHO HAS SUCCESSFULLY ADVANCED THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION. DURING 2022, MEALS ON WHEELS TRANSITIONED BACK TO NORMAL OPERATIONS POST-COVID. WE MAINTAINED 3-DAY SERVICE FOR ROUGHLY HALF THE YEAR AND TRANSITIONED COMPLETELY TO 5-DAY SERVICE MID-YEAR. SCMOW SERVED A TOTAL OF 224 CLIENTS DURING 2022, DELIVERING A TOTAL OF 44,563 MEALS (19,573 FRESH COLD MEALS, 20,412 FRESH HOT MEALS AND 4,578 FROZEN MEALS).
