THE FARM SHARE PROGRAM CONNECTS LOW-INCOME NH INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, AND SENIORS WITH CERTIFIED ORGANIC NOFA-NH MEMBER FARMS TO PROVIDE THEM WITH REDUCED COST COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE CSA SHARES CONSISTING OF A SEASONS WORTH OF LOCAL, FRESH FARM PRODUCTS. SINCE 2017, 13 CERTIFIED ORGANIC PARTNERS HAVE PROVIDED DISCOUNTED CSA SHARES TO 140 LOW-INCOME NH RESIDENTS.
EDUCATION ACTIVISM NOFA-NH IS DEDICATED TO BUILDING A COMMUNITY OF ORGANIC FOOD ACTIVISTS AND EDUCATED CONSUMERS TO HELP SUPPORT NEW HAMPSHIRES LOCAL ORGANIC FARMING COMMUNITY. ORGANIC FARMING IS IMPORTANT TO CREATING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE BECAUSE THE PRACTICES OF ORGANIC AGRICULTURE HELP TO REVERSE CLIMATE CHANGE, RESTORE VITALITY TO THE SOIL, AND BUILD HEALTHY COMMUNITIES FOR ALL LIVING CREATURES.
