PERMANENT IDENTIFICATION OF PUREBRED HOLSTEIN DAIRY CATTLE, RECORDING OWNERSHIP TRANSACTIONS, AND MAINTAINING PROGENY RECORDS: DURING 2023, THE ASSOCIATION IDENTIFIED 541,607 ANIMALS THROUGH REGISTRATION AND BASIC ID PROGRAMS AND RECORDED 81,199 OWNERSHIP TRANSFERS.
COLLECTION OF MILK PRODUCTION AND PHYSICAL TRAIT DATA AND EVALUATION AND DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION: DURING 2023, 233,835 ANIMALS WERE CLASSIFIED & EVALUATED; 4,513 HERDS PARTICIPATED IN DAIRY HERD IMPROVEMENT; 366,825 ANIMALS AND 2,754 HERDS PARTICIPATED IN THE TRISTAR PROGRAM; 86,064 PEDIGREES WERE ISSUED; 4,044 COPIES OF THE SIRE SUMMARY WERE ISSUED; PROCESSED DAIRY RECORDS AND RECORDED MILK PRODUCTION OF 982,822 ANIMALS FROM 508 HERDS.
